Living in Canada, we've come to expect long cold winters. Relentless amounts of snow and months of bundling up before stepping foot outside. However, living in Calgary, we get little breaks every so often called Chinooks. Now these come every so often, its a warm dry wind that blows from the Rocky Mountains. And when they do, you can bet people come out of hibernation for the day or two that it lasts! We've attempted to go out exploring new parts of forests around here when we were experiencing a chinook this winter. Here are some photos of my adventures with my boys.
