When Deirdre asked me to do her family photos I was super happy! We went to jr high and high school together and were really close for a long time! We've always remained friends, but life had pulled us in different directions. So needless to say, I was thrilled to have her ask me! I hadn't met her beautiful daughter Leila yet, and was really looking forward to it. We picked a december day and hoped for the best. And we lucked out. It had just snowed so everything was covered in fresh white snow. As we began, I knew these photos would turn out fantastic. Overall, we had a lot fun. We even had a Taylor swift dance party to get Leila back in to the groove.

I had the pleasure of taking some 3 month old milestone photos of the very beautiful Miss Lauren. How she had changed in such a short amount of time. They were all settled in to their routines, and loving life. I love being able to capture pure unconditional love through my lens. It's amazing what I can see through it and this little family is all about love. Looking forward to watching this little girl grow up. Ive been a bit behind with this blog, to say the least, as Miss Lauren is about 7 months old now... oh where does the time go?
Thankful
I don't think I can fully express how happy I am to be doing this. This passion of mine that I've loved for so long. I am truly thankful to all of you who have been huge supporters of mine. Every little bit has helped me get to where I am today. I couldn't have asked for a better way to end the year. I had the pleasure of shooting a wedding, some brand new babies, and beautiful families. I have a lot of catching up on this blog!
I know its now mid-january, however I wish you all a fantastic year ahead, filled with much love, health & happiness. I look forward to creating many more amazing moments with you all!
