I was honoured to do newborn photos for Michelle & Ian. Their little baby boy was born in November and I got to meet him when he was still so small and sleepy. Now they say newborn shoots are best to be done 7-10 days after birth for that optimal dreaminess quality, however, I had yet to come across a newborn that slept. Maybe they'd start out sleeping or fall asleep half way though, but never until my shoot with baby Evan had I experienced a true sleeping newborn. And man, it was easy and quick! This precious little boy slept through the entire shoot. He was the perfect little model, and the photos turned out so great. Asking Michelle & Ian to stare at him wasn't a daunting task. I love how much love shines through their photos. They were so kind and caring to one another, it was a true honour to be in the presence of such love.
